Directions:
From Tegel Airport to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof:
Take the bus 109 to Charlottenburg, then take the
S-Bahn line S7 to Potsdam (50 minutes total).
This requires a Berlin ABC ticket.
From Schonefeld Airport to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof:
Take the regional train RB22 to Potsdam (50 minutes,
with a Berlin BC ticket),
or
take the regional train RB14 (direction Nauen) to
the stop Ostbahnhof, and then transfer to the RE1 (direction
Brandenberg or Magdeberg) to Potsdam (60 minutes total,
with a Berlin ABC ticket).
From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof to Hotel am Luisenplatz:
Take the Tram 91 (direction Potsdam, Pirschheide Bhf) until
the Luisenplatz-Süd stop. Then walk two minutes north to
the hotel (see the map below, click on it to enlarge it).
The buses 605, 606, 610 and 631 also go from the Hauptbahnhof
to the Luisenplatz-Süd stop.
From Hotel am Luisenplatz to the AEI:
Walk to the Luisenplatz-Süd stop and take Bus 605 (direction
Wissenschaftspark, Golm) or Bus 606 (direction Alt-Golm)
until the Wissenschaftspark, Golm stop, this takes around
20 minutes. This requires a Potsdam AB ticket.
Meals:
Participants are suggested to have breakfast at their hotel, and lunch in the MPI canteen.
These meals, as well as dinners, will be reimbursed through a per-diem together with travel
expenses, after the workshop.
